Lean safe x5

I bought one of these 300lb weight rated aluminum ones on a whim, Lowes was clearing them out for about $135 with vets discount. They make them in fiberglass with a 375 lb weight rating, but I didn’t want that. They also wanted about 220 for those ones.

I can say it is really functional. I wanted something that would take the place of my easy to carry A frame, allow me to get a little higher, and lean on houses when painting or use on higher decks. Fits the bill. It can get you to the roof of a one story (tried it out on my garage) as long as it isn’t a raised area (I’d say mine is about 10’ off the ground and I had rungs above the gutterline). I also used it in my stairway at my house, it worked, but it doesn’t have the working height (or weight) of say a full blown multifunction.

Just thought I’d give a quick take on it if someone was looking. You still need an extension ladder for most jobs, but I think the A frame is leaving the trailer now.

Interesting. I’d have to figure out a way to put levelers on it for my purposes.

If you put levelers on it or would just make it heavier to throw away

Those multi purpose ladders are so heavy and cumbersome in my opinion

Yeah, exactly why I liked this. Just about as heavy as my a frame, just a tad more because it is aluminum.
