Just adding powerwashing

Hi everyone
I have lots of questions!
I have a window cleaning business and property service company on the Cape.
I’ve decided to add power washing as another service.
I’m sticking to the small stuff for now like decks.
I’ve been in business for 8 years.
I need advice with pricing jobs, contracts, best products basicly any advice will be helpful.
Thanks,
D

Welcome to the site. I do have to say decks are not small stuff. When done wrong the can be ruined. Please ask questions and do some research. Check on.what chems work well on wood. What pressure to use his to sand and.stain.

i’ll help you out as much as i can as long as you stay out there on the cape and dont come to central ma

since you added powerwashing, what do you have for a machine?

like arc said, decks can be a little harder than you would expect

Just keep searching and asking questions when you get stumped and you’ll be moving along in no time. I’d say house washing would be an easier start than decks, but just take your time and practice, practice, practice.

I agree with you on house washing being easier than decks. I started offering house washing this summer and so far that’s all I’ve been doing related to PW. I bought a new 4/4000 pressure washer and it paid for itself with just 4 jobs, 2 if we’re counting wc upsells. Just did a $420 job today in 3 1/2 hours. Easy money, just spray and rinse. Decks will be the last thing I add on, if I ever do.

Welcome! Have you considered maybe starting with siding and light flat work first? Decks have a bit of a learning curve.
