Looks like a day well spent!
My son drove into the city because he knew Jr and the governor were making an announcement. He got there early to find a place to park and was sitting on a bench waiting for the shindig to start. Dale Jr set down beside him and told him he liked his hat. Then Jr asked him if they had hung out at Martinsville last year. He had a good memory and seems genuinely nice.

Indeed…3 straight Saturdays since I got it setup and on the water 
Never deployed it…seems senseless with a foot controlled trolling motor, unless I find a hot spot on a breezy day. That may change when I get it out on the river one of these days…but I think the release mechanism on the crank is bad…going to have to get me a new one.
When are you going to do some real fishing?

Bass fishing is the kind I like 
I’m not an off-shore fan at all. That style of bait/trolling bores me. It’s more of a hangout than an activity in my mind. I like the flexibility to be able to go out for a few hours here and there if I wanted to as well, which off-shore doesn’t really work too well (esp. as far away from the shore as I am).

I just like to be out there, and flip a worm out and think while I jig it along
