Is this possible?

That’s 10GPM @5500psi :open_mouth: I want to buy this, but what’s the real figures for a GX690? I’ve never owned one, so I’m excited to get it!

I’ve spoken to the guy selling it and he’s sure, even sent a pic of the pump…

Without digging up the formulas, my gut is saying 2500-2800 psi max at 10.5 gpm with a gx690. Sounds like a good find!

You could probably change the pulleys to get 8 gpm at 3500 if you need more pressure

Thanks @Infinity  3500 @ 8GPM would be wonderful :ok_hand:t2:

Wonder what pump that is???

It’s going to be a huge step up from my two GX390 4@4’s which I’ve been using for years now.

I’ll need to change my unloader I think. I have a K1 and think a K7 is needed for that flow rate.

Bigger buffer tank. Trailer will need rearranging.

Then all the SC nozzles swapping and wand tips…

Oooh it going to get expensive ha ha.

Hopefully I’ll pick it up on Wednesday if he doesn’t sell it to someone local (I’m taking the day off to drive there and back)

Definitely grab the pump as well if it’s really cheap , never know when u might see a diesel stationary motor for the right price that would get the full 40@5500.
Otherwise Like @Infinity mentioned it could still do 2500 or so and be a rinsing monster!!

Is the guy wanting anything for the pump?

Technically no.

He says he will “throw it in” free.

But, the GX690 alone is way over-priced if there’s no pump.

It’s $1600.

Yeah that’s more the 690 is new in the US.

This is an @Innocentbystander question

A GX390 (690 edit) typically runs around $1800. you have a good deal on the engine it would seem. I only use pressure unloaders so I can’t speak to what K series unloader you need. I personally wouldn’t put a used pump on something I used every day. As to whether the stats can be changed on the pump by changing the sheave, probably.

390 or 690? You’re right about the 690. I didn’t realize I was looking at the horizontal version! :flushed:
