Is it worth it

$200
1st pic he had it on for $100 by the time I talked to him it was sold, guy bought it said it starts up 1st pull but the bypass hoses are no good. He reposted it for 200

Bypass hose are an easy fix.sounds like fuel line clogged.all depends on how your mechanic skills are.I repaired several motors that I felt were a good deal because I could tinker with them.shoot the price of 100 back to him.if he bites decide if you wanna work on the rebuild process.push .it is a hit and miss.could be a good gamble

That model number goes to a parts list that has a date on it of 1999.

Might want to research it to be sure of what you are buying. I’m not saying it wont run but it might be real old and work fine for a homeowner but not last for commercial work.

Thanks guys, @Heath71 yea bypass hose ain’t nothing I have hose to replace that if I decided to buy, I just ran across it on Facebook market and wasn’t sure if it was even worth getting to mess with. I was gonna throw him 150 if it was worth it, I told him I’d like to check it out and see how it ran this weekend. He says one pull fires right up and pump is good but no telling if he knows what to really look for.

I wouldnt.

I wouldnt. Also, at this point in the season I would wait until someone sells a better machine this winter for survival money.
