Is 80 gallons going to be enough?

You don’t have a HD, Walmart or a Dollar General up there?

Yeah we do, my local walmart dosnt stock them I have to order and have them shipped to the store max of 12 1 gallon jugs for just under $ 5.00 a gallon for 10% it’s my understanding They stuff theysell is old and not that good. But I could be wrong??

I used the Pool Essentials for nearly a year and was happy with it. Actually pick up 6 gallons a few weekends back as a last minute job came up during a day my supplier was closed.

Bleach prices definitely going up this year! We’ve never been able to get it delivered because the garage we rent is zoned residential. Should be moving into a new commercial place soon. Anyway we buy the gallon jugs by the pallet from the local hardware and thy warned of prices going up to $9/gal this year :grimacing:. Havent got there yet but they said our discounted price will be up to 4.70/gal for our next order

I buy major quantities in mini-bulk, and it’s up 20% over last summer…not much you can do about it (except price accordingly, and hope everyone else is too)

I’m still paying a lot because I don’t have a place for bulk until I buy another house but I get it at the pool store at 12.5% for 4 a gallon.

B16bri, would you mind sharing the ag company you found? I am also in CT and all I have found locally is 5 gallon totes but still $9 a gallon, plus cash only PLUS a deposit for each. Ive been thinking about taking a trip to the J. Racenstein warehouse in NJ. Its $4.20 a gallon there and i can bring a few 55 gal drums. If I do Ill shoot you a message.

2.90 gallon in fivers plus deposit. Just setup wholesale account

Hey Brian, I’m in Litchfield County. I’ve called a few places and waiting on responses. If I get any good leads I’ll let you know.

How far are you from Lime Rock?

I’m about 30 minutes away. That is my absolute favorite part of this state.

Pretty country up there

I use the double-sided ladder adjusters with round feet that swivel so you have complete contact. As long as there isn’t thick growth you should be just fine, also a ladder stabilizer at the top helps. Then go up a couple of rungs and kind of jump up and down to make sure it has a good grip.

You can take a section of webbing and run it around a deck board ( may have to climb under to feed it back up) and around the either the bottom or second from bottom rung and it will keep it from kicking out.
