Introduction from The Poconos

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to everyone. Some here know me from other sites but for those who don’t my name is Hank Timmermann of Pocono Non-Pressure Roof & Exterior Cleaning. We are located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. We provide residential and commercial services to various counties of PA and northwest, NJ. We are a family run business located in Delaware Water Gap, PA.

We look forward to contributing to this site in the future.

Welcome!

Yo Hank!

Jessica and Tim,

Thanks for the welcome.

Hank

Welcome Hank, we did a job by you a few months ago, a little apartment complex.

John,

Thanks for the welcome. How close to me? That’s good for you but bad for me(LOL).

Hank

Watergap Village, a NJ co owns it, we do all their properties.

John,

That’s about 1/2 mile from my house. I live on Cherry Valley Rd and Main St in DWG. Darn I could have met you for lunch. My loss.

Hank

Is the minisink still there?

Ralph,

Sure is. You originally from these parts? Bet you don’t miss the winters.

Hank

Welcome to PWR!

I lived in Drums Pa. Close to White haven. Had a power washing/deck restoration business in Randolph NJ from 1996-2003. No I don’t miss the winters. It was in the 80’s down here today. Hope I never have to pick up a snow shovel again! I used to stop at the minisink on the way home sometimes.

Thank you Thad.

Boy thats some commute. Years ago I traveled to NYC daily but I gave that up in 2007 after 12 years of doing it. 80’s heh. That’s right rub it in(LOL). Do they even sell snow shovels in Florida? If not I can send you a few.
Hank

That’s one of the reasons I decided to call it quits, the ride there was such a haul. Their was pretty much no demand for power washing where I lived, and I knew some contractors in New jersey. They turned me on to a hot market. I got in sort of when power washing was just coming into being a viable business, that was the time of ladders and yellow noodles!(24 foot extension wands) I’m loving this softwashing. And no I haven’t seen a snow shovel around here. And I won’t be needing one(hopefully!)

Welcome Hank! I can relate to that commute( not as long as you) but I did the NYC commute for 26 years. Glad that’s over.

Beautiful area, it was 2 hours away for us. It was after the season ended, me and my GM did it ourselves. We used the CLC Logding service that’s a benefit of PWRA Membership. We stayed at a fairly new Holiday Inn in E. Stroudsburg for only $40 a night each, huge savings.

John,

Your right this is a beautiful area. That’s one of the reasons I moved from NYC seventeen years ago. That new hotel is over on West Main St in Stroudsburg, next to the Chrysler dealship.

Hank

Off topic- I’m really glad to see you using your discounts, John.
