Injector didn't last long

I don’t understand how so many people have so many problems with them. And why everyone uses 2.1 mm orfices. I run 275 ft of hose and use a 2.3 mm orfice. Around .85 percent hitting surface drawing straight sh. And most that are using 2.1 are watering down there sh.

What machine do you have?

8.5 gpm but most with 8 gpm use 2.1 mm. And a k7 unloader maybe the pressure trapped unloaders are putting to munch pressure on them?

I don’t really have a lot of problem…they just don’t last forever. Mine is 2.3 on my 8gpm and it is putting about 1.0 on the wall…works great until it stops. That is no issue for me, just reach in the box and get a new one and keep on rolling. I am using 10% bleach…injector is putting about 10/1.

The ceramic ball and the spring are bigger on the one I have compared to the gp and others that come with the metal ones. Like mentioned above that probably makes a big difference. I also use a slotted PVC filter sure that helps it from getting clogged or something stuck in the spring. Use to use quick connects on it now just thread it straight on . When the piece of plastic got stuck in the spring was back going in a few minutes.

I see what y’all mean about the price though. The brass one is 80 bucks and the SS 115. Yikes I get there email’s all the time they are around half price when on sell. No way I would pay that either!! And that is for the super suds sucker not the regular suds sucker ibs maybe that is the one u are comparing it to the regular suds sucker.

Mine lasts for years.
Though i have 9 spare ones

Hastelloy is what you want to look for. I bet that a ceramic ball with a hastelloy spring and viton or kalrez o-ring in a regular old brass injector would last for years, provided it was rinsed at the end of every day.

In between and after every job

Yeah, but our machines don’t average generating $345 per hour like yours…so your equipment is better than ours.

You must also be the only one with an 8gpm pulling 10-1… go check your draw rates before posting bologna

No bologna…believe it or not…have been checked. Now, I am not asking you to believe it…I don’t care whether you do or not…that is what they pull. These injectors come from a supplier in my state…have no idea of the brand…but they are great.

Know what YOU are talking about before you post…

Y’all be nice. I don’t like seeing people I like bickering. Save that for the knuckle heads on here

10:1 with 8gpm?? That’s awesome. I barely got that with my 4gpm running a 1.8mm injector. I currently get 14:1 running 5.6gpm with 200 ft of hose running a 2.3mm injector. I get the same ratio running a 2.1mm injector. It’s worked for me for over a year now so I let it alone. I still have the same injector since swapping pumps last May
