I'm getting old

When I shut down on thanksgiving I’m at the gym 3-5 days a week until late February. I don’t step foot in it again until the next thanksgiving. Lol

When I was in VirginiaBeach I trained Brazilian jiu jitsu for 6 years. I haven’t trained BJJ since 2015 and I’m dying to get back to it. I’m one stripe away from my brown belt, but 3 years later I feel like I need to start over.

Yeah, there are days it’s hard especially after a long day at work. It’s all in the planning though. Having the gym bag packed in the truck, having several sets of workout clothes, keeping some at the shop, some at home, some in the truck etc… Fortunately the gym I go to is only a few blocks from my office so that helps a lot. I keep thinking I need to cut back to 4 X a week to give my body a rest, but then again I don’t use the weights everyday. some days are just cardio, or a moderate walk on the treadmill at incline, just to keep me in the routine.

Duuuude get back to it! I’ve been training BJJ since 2010 and it’s so much easier to go be consistent than when I used to lift.

If you drink any soda, quit. That alone will likely get you 15lbs off. Even quit diet.

I’m no doctor, but I think I can diagnose two of your problems.

Just started doing this like two weeks ago. I need a pinch of stevia to make it go down a little easier, and I use grass fed ghee instead of butter ‘cause I can’t handle the casein.

I needed something to take the place of that wretched Ritalin I’ve been on for ages. The quality control on generic drugs seems to be in a steady decline, and I was suffering increasing side effects from it. Plus, it’s not good to be on such a powerful stimulant for so long.

If they could roll all the benefits of proper sleep, diet, and exercise into one pill, it would be touted as a miracle drug. Fact is, there is no substitute for taking proper care of yourself. But thankfully, that means most people living the standard American lifestyle have the opportunity for a miraculous improvement in their quality of life.

Stevua is such a rip off in the States, they sell it not conxentrate, you need small spoon fulls.
Overseas, like the ones i git at home, you only need a pin head for a cup of tea.
About 1/16 of a small spoon
Yeah i dont drink coffee, but tea i do

Having 2 kids age 3 and under = coffee intake is currently at scorched earth midnight level maximum capacity.

99% of the day consists of drinking coffee, making coffee, thinking about coffee, coffee exiting my body, and changing diapers (my 6 months old, not mine). My workouts consist of pullups, pushups, surfing, holding my fat meatball of a son, and letting my daughter ride me like a horse 5 million times per day. I wish i could get back in the gym, but right now it’s not feasible.

Interestingly I use to drink a ton of soda. I cut all soda for 6 months. Strangely I lost no weight. Maybe I added to many carbs or something. Later I went low carb and lost 40+ lbs. Hard to eat zero bread, grains, pasta, etc but it works!

Swapped one habit for another hey! I love my soda, but it it so bad for you. Dropping carbs is just as hard.

I dropped, beer, soda, tea all that 2 years ago. I had been working out hard and still couldnt get my abs to be like i wanted them. I ate nothing but baked/grilled chicken or fish. I was going to kickboxing classes and only did 3 months of jiu jitsu( was really expensive). I trained in kick boxing from 2014 thru 2016. I got my abs back in under 3 months. Literally 1 month worth of drinking around 2 24 oz beers at night and one or two McDonald’s sweet teas a day i lost my abs. Im a father now so i just call it dad bod.

Edit: my job had a gym for employees to work out and i worked out on my hour lunch break everyday back then. I still want to do some push ups,sit ups and squats at my house but i always feel so drained.

What if I drink 5-6 cans of mtn dew a day? Asking for a friend!

You’ll become a diabetic when you stop so you must continue until the end.

Your friend will be blessed with 1 entire ab!

I lost 90 pounds in 6 months. It takes a LOT of will power, but the results are amazing!

I drank at least 8-10 a day. Switched to diet mt. dew when I went low carb. I still drink 8-10 per day, but the weight still came off from low carbing.
