If you had 5 grand

Yeah the plumping can really be expensive

Ok. So the other machine I was looking at was: https://shop.pressurewasherky.us/55-GPM-3500-PSI-Vanguard-Engine-6012PRO-20G-V.htm

Would that be more ideal for concrete? Also, what is the consensus on the Vanguard engine?

Russ is a great guy. He doesn’t mind helping people. he carries hydrotek also which in hot water is a much better unit.

I’ve been through 2 pressure pro this year and will not own another one. the cold water units are great but the burners have a lot to be desired.

I just bought a PP hot water skid 5.5 gpm @3500 psi for truck washing. It’s a beast for now and it’s all you need to do fleets. I toned mine down to 2900 psi to keep it easy on the paint,I run it side by side with a 4gpm hot machine ,1 washes truck ,other washes trailer

That’s just because you’re washing with a BMW now and look down on all of us lowly Chevy washers. :grinning:

Machine you posted sure does have a big footprint to be stuffing in a van.

@Kps is right though, I have 2 Hotsys and they are far better built. Hydro tek, alkota, landa, hotsy are your premium machines for the long haul

But I took a chance on the PP 5.5 hot skid for $5000. And that’s what I had at the time in cash.

I have a pressure pro with a hot link heater as a second unit and it’s been good. if they’d step up the quality control coming out of the plant there would be a lot less issues. I’ve been impressed with the little heater. I used it a couple days on breezeway concrete popping gum and it did fine. but I do like landa. @RacerI’m probably going to go ahead and pull the trigger on a mini mondo next week

AMEN !

Got mine in Wednesday. Doing a review on it, but have 2 hours of video to edit. Let @Grizz play with it some today. He’s in love. Talk to me before you order. Had some modifications made to mine that I’m really glad I did.

I’m going Alkota by the end of the year, They have there crap together up there in South Dakota. 100 % American steel and sweat go into each machine,100% made in house !

If I had 5 grand I’d hold onto it and build up your customer base first. You’d be surprised how many restaurants and their owners view our services as unnecessary or useless. Find the ones that see it the other way first and then go after it like a madman.

You got 3 good guys giving you advise on the work you want to get into.
Since you are not familiar with the members here
@racer is the residential guru
@Kps0410 is the commercial flat work guru
And @Hotshot is the truck washing and bug cleaning guru

@Kps0410 that thing is a game changer. I will definitely be getting one in the future.

Yeah but if he got a hot water skid ,he could be banking money washing rigs in two weeks. Then go after commercial with the same machine, then God forbid he starts the racket of slinging SH on Harry homeowners. BORING ,snooze fest plus headache. :joy:

Me personally, I’d put a 2" receiver on that van a pull a dbl axle open trailer. 16’ minimum for fleets and commercial, smaller for rez.keep all your tools in van

I appreciate all these guys advice also. Thank you guys for commenting. I’m still unsure of what machine I should purchase for 5 grand. LOL. Maybe I should reevaluate and buy a cold machine, focus on residential until I can afford a proper hot machine. I just feel like fleets and commercial could be my bread and butter in my area more so than residential.
