I think I'm over whelmed

If your number of things to do seems overwhelming, then it might help to try making a written list of what you think you need to do. Add in the suggestions you’ve read here.

You can add a column for the cost of the items that require spending or even put the next step in that spot of how your going to achieve what’s on that line.

The list will change as you check off what you’ve done and checkmarks will lead to things being added to the list, but it’s ok. That’s how it works. Break it down into the steps you have to take to do this. Get organized.

Set goals for yourself by the day if you can be that organized or by the week at the very least. If you don’t achieve your goals then honestly reflect on why you didnt reach your goals

Did you set too high of a goal, were you lazy or did you forget or were unaware of how to do it? Whatever the reason, even laziness, is ok as long as you use it in a positive way and learn from it. If you can be honest with yourself, then tomorrow will be better because you can avoid your mistakes of today.

You’ll find when it’s written down it will start to become more of a business plan that will have items that help you grow.

Everyone is going to start a business in a different way that’s in their comfort zone, but end up doing a lot of the same things if it becomes successful. Depends on you really. Some people are better at being fluid and changing on the fly when something comes up. Nothing shakes them so they brush it off and just go for the gold.

Other people are more conservative and like to plan out things so they dont forget what to do. They might like the list idea better.

I’m not going to say either way or being in the middle is right or wrong. You know yourself and how you work best so adapt your strengths into whatever combination of what you see in this thread and forum to be successful and remember, dont be afraid to make mistakes while opening a business. Just don’t be reckless and over expose yourself. Start with small potatoes and then go for the whole bag then the farm.

Good luck!

#1…stop & breathe…#2…evaluate your business plan…we spent over a year of educating ourselves on setting up our business and what equipment we’d need to be profitable right out the gate…there’s no reason to hurry putting your business together…it’s a marathon not a sprint…one step at a time…best advice is let Equipment choice be the last on your list…there’s much more to building a car than the motor…but the motor moves the car…
