Like as a donut, or did u forget a comma?

Going through old threads and this has me questioning, whether the operator could see the etching when wet or does it only show when dry?
Also from what I have gleaned there should have been some milky color coming up when cleaning to warn the operator.
Is 18 months a safe time frame to go with when sc a new install?
Just trying to learn from others.

There was cream coming off when he washed it. He was a nut for sure
I wud like an update to this threadā¦ i need to know what he did next.
He redid the driveway a few more times and called it art and charged the customer double lol
Man, thatās bad.
Aside from all the comments like āhow did you not know?!ā and ācall your insuranceā etc. The thing I noticed is your technique. Itās seems very random, poor coverage and youāve stopped more than once in the same spot with the surface cleaner still running.
These things will ALWAYS cause you problems, fresh concrete or otherwise.
Yes, itās damaged the cream, yes, itās ruined. Sorry. Nobody likes to learn the hard way
If you look, that driveway has a āgrainā so to speak, it runs from left to right - you have gone up and down with the surface cleaner, against it. Personally, I would have gone left and right.
If it was me, Iād go back and do it again, left to right, uniform. It wonāt fix it, but it will look much better until the proper fix (concrete finisher) can do their thing.
I only say do it again so the customer can see you have tried, and also with social media, such as Facebook - a picture like the one youāve posted can ruin you pretty much overnight.
The guy has never been back since he posted that. The only day he even viewed. You guys wasting your time commenting.
Appears to me that they pressure washed off the cheap sealant that was put down. I client called me out for a similar situation around a pool area and pavers that got messed up. The Company was a paint company who sent out some kid to clean the place. Oh and he used a rotary tip which is a no no.
Between you and I, I think you may be right. It just didnt look that bad to me.
The damage in the original pic isnāt damage to a cheap clear coat. Its damage to the concrete by a contractor that didnāt stop immediately when the damage first occured
How long you been pressure washing Grump?
Since 1998. Name is William or Innocent bystander. No more from me accept to call out bad advice. Good luck.
Bad advice. Hahaha. Your the type I file insurance claims on for home and business owners cause you think you know it all. But you donāt. We started in 1976. But I guess I have not learned a thing or about anything since your claim your God here. lol
Your dad started a window cleaning business in the 70ās. You started yours in 1997. Iām sure you know more about window cleaning than most here. But then, this isnāt a window cleaning forum. Your advice on the concrete was bad. Weāre not very forgiving on that here. Neither do tolerate folks calling others meth heads or implying that they arenāt following CWA. Try starting over with an intro about yourself and a fresh start.
Always a couple methedup people that like to cause trouble here. Go run your mouth somewhere else and stop acting like you own this discussion group. Feel privileged your even on this group. For the info about my dad is I am a second generation in many fields. I am done talking to ya. lol
Good luck to ya.
