How much hose should I have for residential?

If you got the free tarp you got your money’s worth.

It’s mainly junk but it’s manly junk

All my C clamps and a bench vise I bought from there still work.

I have lots of stuff from there that works great. The free coupons are awesome. Tarps and tape measures for days. Some of them dont even require a purchase, and you can use them once a day. I printed up a bunch of no purchase required free batteries coupons, and went there 4 or 5 times to stock up on AAA’s for my headlamps.

Relevant to the thread, I read where Russ Johnson sells 3/4" Flexzilla now… hmmm now im back to the 5/8 or 3/4 decision…

I haven’t worried about hose size since I started using a buffer tank. As long as my tank is full above 75 gallons at any given time I get just less than 10 gpm from the tank no matter what. I was a hardcore 3/4 guy until Racer sold me on flexzilla and Innocentbystander told me he runs 5/8 because you get more on the reel.

I carry 275 feet of lighter, better hose. 200 on the reel plumbed to the buffer tank, 75 tucked into a 5 gallon bucket as “oh sh**” hose. No regrets so far.

So do I have this right use 3/4 if you don’t have a tank, and 5/8 if you do?

I’d probably worry more about whether or not I needed a buffer tank first. If you can get by without a buffer tank good chance you can get by without 3/4". It first comes down to how many gpm you get from your area water supply and the gpm of your pressure washer.

Bingo. If your machine is higher than a 4 gpm a buffer tank is best practice in my opinion.

I’ve seen that at radio shack. It’s on the same aisle as the frequency grease that I bought to help with my radio reception

I have 150 foot of supply line
200 foot of pw line
200 foot of softwash line

And I have NEVER wished I had less lol… go with 200 on Pw line. I always need more than 100 foot.

I need to be able to fit 250 ft of Flexilla 5/8 garden hose on a hose reel, what reel do you suggest? Most titans I see show 3/8 and 1/2 figments but not 5/8’s.

The 18” reel should fit 250 of 5/8” easily enough, if you’re not a complete slob winding it up.

250’ of supply? Good lawd.
