How I spend my off days

We went from a Toyota rav 4 to a 13 town and country with all the bells and whistles. Weathertek covering all the floor so cleaning is a breeze! Pure heaven! The wife likes to follow rock trucks too close though and she blew the windshield out a few weeks ago… $450 to have a new one put in! Girl needs to get back on her feet and wash some houses so she can buy a new one lol

I hear that from every mini van owner, lol. I’ll see what we do

@SchertzServicesLLC no way, my insurance will cover up to like 4 windshields a year, did you check with yours?
For the last hurricane we drove from central-east Florida to east Mississippi where we stayed at a hotel for almost a week, visited Louisiana and drove back home, somewhere on our way back someone switched lanes in front of us and kicked up a rock that put an inch crack on our windshield. Kept growing until I got it replaced like two weeks later.

I’m not sure! Never bothered with it but maybe I should lol!

I have progressive on the bronco, van, and fusion. Fusion needs a windshield too. I’ll look at my policy.

Looks delicious! I love ribeye. It’s by far my favorite cut of beef. I can’t wait until our sweetcorn is ready. That picture is making my mouth water.

Yesss, good stuff. Mine is flank steak. Mmm-mmm…

Flank is a good cut as well. I don’t marinade beef very often but there’s a great one I use with flank. I can’t remember the exact recipe but I know it had soy sauce, lime, garlic, and some other stuff. Very good. I haven’t made it in awhile but, because of this thread, it will be going on our menu soon.

Nice
We just put plain salt, delicious

Mmmm…this thread makes me hungry.

Looks awesome! I could eat it just as it lays!

There’s a really good rub I always use on prime rib. It’s the only store bought rub I use and only for prime rib. I’ll mail you some sometime so you can try it on your next one. I’ve never used it on a smoked one though but would imagine it would be just as good as on roasted.

Or you could drive it over! I like a good wet rub on prime rib. Jack Daniels makes a pork rub that is just fantastic!

I might do that sometime. It’s only about an hour and half.

I’ve never tried a wet rub. I’ve always enjoyed that dry on prime rib because it’s mixes great with the drippings for dipping! I could almost pour it in a coffee mug and drink it. Actually, I could do that even without using the dry rub. Nothing like melted fat from prime rib! I’m sure my arteries are glad I only eat it once or twice a year. It’s almost as good as the super soft fat on a ribeye. My wife and kids always throw theirs on my plate. It’s almost like meat flavored butter. Not that I eat it alone but a small piece with each bite of meat is heaven!
