How are you installing drop tube in SH tank

The gp injector with screw out orifices is how I do it

@anon37135677 exactly. My chem tank is going to be SH and surfactant. Using metering valve to DS injector. I just ordered the Shertz box so I guess I won’t need a three way valve after all.

Do you change your mix that often?

I do. Using a bucket, I change the amount of SH on every house. I also change the ratio as I go on a house. Most houses I do are clean. They’re vacation homes at the shore so the homeowners want them cleaned evey year. You might get a tough spot that you have to throw some extra SH in the bucket for. The next house could be a dirty mess that needs extra strength. I’m also anal, controlling and OCD. That might be a factor too. Lol

Do you have pictures of your set up

I didn’t build it yet. I’m still waiting in the trailer to be finished. 1 month over due so far. I’m just getting everything ready so I can bang it out.

Do any of you run a 12v pump style proportioner for DS?

I use both DS and 12v systems. I’d enjoy having one tank of SH, one tank of surfactant, and one tank of water with the ability to dial in the mix ratios for DS and 12v separately.

Have you posted the pictures yet? I’m interested in seeing them

I’m out of town but it’s a banjo fitting in the top of the tank, run tube through pvc drop tube, then through the banjo fitting. Then screw in the pvc adapter screwed into it, pvc tube welded onto that fitting (before screwing in).

Thank you… i am setting my trailer up this weekend and I am trying to get all the bugs worked out ahead of time. lol

I’m late but here you go. I use bulkheads and pvc’s with filters.

For the smaller 1/4 diameter tubes I run it inside the 1/2 in pvc to the bottom where the filter is and I caulk the top

Create a personal account and enjoy!. It has a small learning curve and you can see how to create specific objects using tutorials on YouTube. Take your time designing the layout and think of everything including weight distribution. Best of luck!

Thanks for the pictures, these are helpful. I’m looking to install similar bulkheads. I can see the elbows are screwed into the bulkhead. Do the bulkeahds have threads on the inside of the tank as well to screw in your PVC? Or do you have to attach the PVC a different way?

Most have threads on the inside. These are a couple of cheap ones from Amazon. The small black one does not have threads on the inside. Just glue it instead.
