Have a serious question, I lost slight pressure on my machine and now the water has a slight grey tint to it. When you turn the burner on the water runs jet black. If anyone has had this issue before please let me know what the problem was and what needs to be done to fix it short of carrying to repair shop
Sounds like the burner coil may need to be cleaned
Could be as simple as your hose degrading from using heat. Check your hose out first. How much is a slight pressure loss?
I put a new hose on and its still running black
I will chack that
Enough that the surface cleaner doesnt want to float the way it should.
have you tried a pressure gauge connected to the exit of your pump? end of your hose? you might be able to determine it’s a hose issue if your gauge reads normal on the pump but not at your gun. could be wrong about that but that’s what i’d try. couldn’t tell you about the black water though, i only have a cold water setup

The black water coming out is called “black death” that’s just your hoses wearing down and releasing that black stuff…
If you want to clean the inside of your coil, you can run de scaler thru it and it will clean up the inside of the coil real nice… I usually install a DS injector after my unloader and before my burner and Down Stream un diluted de scaler thru my coil… hope this helps
