Greetings everyone,
I haven’t posted in this category but here it is. Does anyone have experience replacing the stator in a GX670? Mine was diagnosed by a local shop and along with the diagnosis an estimate of about $800. I have some other folks tell me that didn’t seem right and to do the repair myself. I am mechanically inclined but also have never replaced a stator before so I don’t know what is involved. The engine is not charging the battery and the engine will shut down when the charge on the battery runs low.
