There’s a saying I try to go by “you never look good trying to make someone else look bad”. I don’t worry about my competition. I get frustrated with low pricing on their end, but I like to think I offer a different quality work.

Will never happen. Don’t ask again and remove me from your call list.

Usually after about the 5th call in a week you can get them to lose it and they start cussing and yelling lol

Hello Am Bill can you handle my full roof replacement do you accept credit payment?

Which I’m still waiting on. He did not reply with much haste.

Rick, I’m going to encourage you to let us keep this as a forum for PWers. I won a $1000 job today that came to me as a HA lead this morning. Grateful I am! However, it’s quite different for me to recommend HA than for you, someone who sells HA.

Good luck to you in your endeavors, and I wish you mercies in business. But if you want to sell here, how about contacting Chris Lambrinides for a banner ad. THAT MIGHT VERY WELL BE A PROFITABLE ENDEAVOR, and probably more profitable than posting.

Nailed it.

I finally cancelled my HA. I was losing $150 a month. I’ve been with them for 8 months and won 3 jobs. Only one of jobs did the customer didn’t complain about my price. Half the time they wanted the cheapest price and the others never answered the phone or returned my messages or emails. HA said they will only returned their fee 2 times a month.

Unfortunately my last 3 leads were unsuccessful. I called immediately following the notification, no answer for all three. I left a message letting them know I would be more than happy to give a free estimate. I also sent emails stating essentially the same thing worded differently, no luck. Here’s what what email looked like.

Good evening BLANK,

I will be more than happy to give a free estimate for BLANK. You can reach me at BLANK. Thanks, have a nice evening.

How can they charge you for customers that you never even had contact with. That’s fraud.

And I’ll almost guarantee you your one of maybe 3 people on it near us.

It is fraud. I called and let them know how I felt. They gave me 10 free leads. I’m convinced those 3 were dummy leads so they can dig right back in my wallet asap. Fortunately I recooperated my initial fee and then some but word of mouth and just getting myself in front of people has been 12x more efficient then HA
