Help my Unanticipated summer weekend build tomorrow

My 8ft bed canvas , and 8gpm new upgrading from 5.5, what’s my best layout to have the option of two guys running. Also want room for surface cleaner and ladder

utilizing the pallet so it can all be transferable to another truck if needed

That’s going to be a nice setup, I need to redo my current truck bed setup. Please post after pics to give me some ideas too! We use a ladder rack that we have welded brackets on the sides to hang a surface cleaner on the driver side, put your ladder on the top of the rack of course. Hoses on curb side of bed rails. We store our collapsing poles, squeegees and brooms under the wood paneling. On top of the wood platform we have our 35 gallon tank, two 15 gallon carboys and some miscellaneous 1 gallon chems and one PW unit. Our truck setup doesn’t get used to often because we pull a trailer most of the time, but it’s a little rig to have.

What are the two fuel lines for. And why do you quick connects on them? Im not saying you’re wrong for doing it. I’m just curious.

This is how it came out of the crate with a remote 6 gal fuel tank already setup like that

You probably have a supply and return line for fuel

I figured it was a something like a return. I was asking because I have a gx690 and don’t have a return.

This is what I have so far what’s my best bet to maximize space to add a 6ft ladder and the surface cleaner. Ladder rack, mount to top of side bed toolbox, constructive suggestions welcomed

Still waiting on the other hannay reel to come in. Plus I need a bigger surface cleaner , recommendations for the 8gpm 3500?

II would move your buffer tank to the driver side so your plumbing isn’t in the middle of your storage area. I can’t tell from the picture and how big your belt guard is but it looks like you could move your intake to the opposite side of your pump. (That’s if you wanted to move the buffet tank). Where is your chem tank going? I would also try to figure out a way to put the gas tank in the under deck area.

I use a 16 inch ultra clean with my machine. Sometimes I think about buying a 19 inch ultra clean. But i can move super fast with my 16. I just washed a 4400 sqft driveway in about 3.5 hours and it was pretty nasty. To me that’s plenty fast. I also don’t do large expanses of concrete.

Also that plywood isn’t going to hold up very long. If it were me and you were set on keeping it on a skid like unit. I would start planning on building a metal skid. I guess you could build it like a utility trailer with 2x8 treated boards as decking.

This is the truck that came back from Florida when we shut down there this year. Redid skid and sold whole thing as a package deal. This was a Saturday morning job that went great until spectrum cable cut the power to the building. Finished the last cuts with a chainsaw

What are you doing with pressure pro skids and titan reels? And I don’t think that’s a 2315

Hard to get decent equipment in Florida, or Ft Meyers anyway. And their poly chain drives on top of everything else lol. That’s why they weren’t added to the rotation here.

Why did you build a wooden skid too. I’ve given up on relying on plywood when it sits in the weather.

Wooden skid will last 2 or 3 years and cost about $300 bucks

Your right…real plywood will. OSB this other guy is using will be rotted out in a few months
