Help me build my trailer

I have a pressure pro belt drive skid mount 8gpm, but where to mount it on trailer? I am thinking front of trailer passenger side? Thoughts?

Anywhere exvept underneath should work

Front right corner, I decided, but, found out Iā€™ll need a street elbow for the pressure line, aiming back to the rear. The unloader sends it out the side.
This was a little more work getting this loaded this morning than I expected. I really missed my college age kid today getting this darn thing up on that trailer by myself!

The carton was nailed to the pallet. Pain in the a$$.

Wow, who did you buy it from?

One of the ā€œsuppliesā€ vendors that are less common on this site. The one I found had the best and most responsive customer service. Iā€™d rather not say. Just because it really doesnā€™t matter
It really doesnā€™t matter as this machine is drop shipped by all the vendors anyway. Pressure Pro manufacturers it and the dealers sell it. I did not know, however, that they are built to order, and not ā€œin-stockā€. So when you order from a dealer, they then build it, so it takes a few extra days before shipping. The serial number tag had my order number and company name on the tag! Cool.

If you had good cust serv experience would be awesome to know from whom

Plus 1. Thereā€™s no harm in mentioning/recommending a vendor here. The trouble comes when vendors make a habit of tooting their own horns.

Personally, I bought my pressure pro through KEC. The customer service there seems pretty good, but it can take a dogā€™s age to get some things through them (even small stuff).

As you mentioned, these machines are built to order and shipped from the factory, so the vendors have little control over what takes place after you order. But Jason at KEC was helpful in communicating with PressurePro when my machine didnā€™t ship out when it shouldā€™ve.

I would recommend for anyone that has ordered a pressure pro, to contact them directly and tell them that the way they ship their machines sucks. Iā€™ve read numerous comments online that their machines were tipped over in transit. First off, PP should stop using Estes for freight. Second, they need to bolt the machine to the pallet, not staple the carton to the pallet. That really doesnā€™t protect the machine much, and can make unpacking difficult if you donā€™t know what to expect.

As long as they donā€™t switch to R and L. They do not pay out claims. Pay 4k for a machine they break then fight for replacmentā€¦No thanks. Fed Ex Ground is the best in my opinion. Costs a bit more but the service blows everyone else out of the water!

Ordered mine from florida, tax free and free shipping.
Got mine from water cannon.
Service was good, shipping on time.
They told me that they build them as orders come in.

The cardboard carton was stapled to the pallet, very hard to see or find the staples. Have crowbar handy. I used the base plate of my hand truck to pry out the staples. It was very well packed with fitted inner supports. There was no way my machined would have tipped with that packaging. I actually thought is was over packed. They could save all that packing if they would just bolt it to the pallet like most receivers expect. Arrived in visibly perfect condition. Old Dominion Freight. The dealer said I didnā€™t need lift gate service! he said me and a buddy could easliy lift it off the truck. NOT! I opted for liftgate and glad I did. This thing was well over 250 lbs. The engine alone is 100. The pallet and cardboard another 60. hoses, battery, steel skid, pump, etc, etc! I had to air up my hand truck tires, they went flat as soon as I lifted it.

Yep liftgated mine

Yeah, I had mine shipped to the hardware/building supply store around the corner, which has a loading dock and forklift. Saved a good amount on freight, and the employee at the store was happy to set the machine right on my trailer.

When I got it home, I just cut the cardboard box down and slid the machine off onto the bed of the trailer. A one man job for the 5.5@2500.

Mine shipped Old Dominion, as well, and arrived in perfect condition. But apparently Estes has managed to tip more than a couple of these machines over, with the box stapled to the pallet :flushed:

Mine was also shipped Old Dominion. Set it up to pick it up directly from their terminal

How the hell do you tip a pallet over?
How are they still in business?

I used to work at a freight company, dock hands can flip anything over. Including trailers and forkliftsā€¦ itā€™s like the Olympics

I had a woodstove delivered this week upside down in a wooden crate. Sitting in my driveway with ā€œthis side upā€ arrow pointing down.
