Hello, newbie and pavers, pavers pavers

Hello! I just started my business a month and a half ago. Live in S. FL. I have decided to start small and slow to make sure I do the jobs correctly with the startup equipment I got. With that said, business for me has been picking up and now stumbled into a customer that wants me to, pressure wash his pavers, re sand and seal (wet look) a total of 3 houses. 2 I have already pressured washed, the third I will need to resurface concrete stamped pavers, pressure wash, paint and possibly paint every other stamped square. The other 2 will need re sanding the pavers and apply a wet seal to finish off. My question, has anyone done this before and how do you go about quoting that paver work? I have called a few pressure washing companies to gather the going rate but have not had luck in that and truth be told, I really don’t like doing that since I wouldn’t like it if they did it to me so I am hesitant to keep gathering that information in that manner.

House #1- Re sand and seal with wet look. Driveway 1400 SqFt and back area is 2000-2200 sq/ft (front and back with pavers)

House # 2-re sand and Seal with wet look. Driveway 1200 sqFt and back 1200-1300 sqft in back.

House # 3-Resurface the stamped driveway, pressure wash it and then paint 1200 sqft. Back area-pressure wash, re sand and seal (pavers not stamped in the back area).

Where in Fl?

East Ft. Lauderdale area.

Clean / resand/ seal . Rates are usually between 75c - 1.25 sqft depends on volume /product quality / and warranty Offered

LOL, I was going to tell you to contact @florida_condo_cleani since you’re not in his neck of the woods. That he could give you an idea.

Thanks. I was way low on what I was calculating and planning on presenting to customer. Customer is buying sand and sealant and wants the labor and service, I will need to rent a scrubber to remove paint on stamped paver driveway, that’s going on the total cost of course. I am looking at a 2 day job min.
Wants washing maintenance on a 1- 1 1/2 month basis plus possibility of a few more houses in the coming months. I just dont want to get into something that will turn into a bad quality for customer or make no profit at all.

Thanks for your prompt response

There are so many things wrong with what you just said I don’t even know we’re to start

Careful with what customer picks out for sealer. He picks a crappy sealer or wrong one and then you’ll take the heat for it. Seal n Lock and Ure Seal both offer training periodically. Both @florida_condo_cleani and I use the Ure Seal. Both companies are in Fl. Lot of money to be made in pavers down there, but learn what the heck you’re doing.

Next time I need a truck worked on I’m not going to hire a mechanic at a service center. I’m going to run an add on Craigslist.

Mechanic needed $10 hour bring your own tools and insurance. Don’t worry I’ll tell you how to fix it too.
Se how ridiculous that sounds. Don’t be that guy be a company

Got it.

Yes agreed on that there is money in pavers. I will look into the training classes to further my knowledge on this area. Thanks again for all your advice, both of you.
