Have to start somewhere

Well, it’s pretty basic but I finished mounting and plumbing the main components of my trailer today. Wish I would have found this site before I started buying, I would have taken a little bit different of a route. But, this should at least get me started to do some side work. I started this venture to subcontract myself for my full time job. We do Wildlife management and deal with a lot of commercial properties that have issues with birds and their droppings. So needless to say we do a lot of cleaning of bird droppings. That’s why the heat and the large tank. The machine is a Landa PGHW5-5000, the tank is 525gal (don’t plan on using to full capacity but we do get into areas where we don’t have full access to water). In my off hours I plan to go after other commercial properties and some house washes. We will see where it goes.

They actually fit me pretty well where they are. I will see if the need to be adjusted once I get out there and play with them more.

By the way all the bragging on udor pumps convinced me to go that route over a GP. I even found one that’s already gear drive mounted for about the same price that I was going to pay for pump and gear drive separately.

Put a fish eye mirror on the front of the machine in line with rear view mirror and trailer hook up will be easier

Thanks. I figured I needed something better than my 1/2 ton silverado to tow the trailer around so I bought that thing. Maybe a little overkill lol.

Good thing you lost the Chevy!

I’ll continue to own more Chevys, just couldn’t pass up this deal.

Had a company call about having bird droppings all over their store front. Its painted aluminum roof and painted aluminum letters.

Have dealt with normal bird deposits, but these are heavy due to them having created nests behind the letters. Not having heat, any recommendations?

From what im seeing/finding SH would help melt away to some point.

They sell a bird dropping spray, look it up on Amazon or pets smart.

I used it for the first time the other day, looks like it needs multiple passes for good results, brush and rinse.

I’m still experimenting with a few products. SH works. I use hot water which works well to melt it away. The tough part about droppings on metal is that the droppings are usually somewhat acidic. Depending on how long they’ve been on the surface for they can remove paint or even get a little etched in the metal. If you need to hit it with a couple applications and see if that works.
