Hard decision!

The 35 gallon tank is for my sh. I have a 200 gallon buffer and it’s not big enough most days.

My bow is itching to be fired and my freezer is hungry

Are you pulling from that tank in your bed ?! How exactly is that working out ? Tank lower than the washer? I thought that was something you weren’t supposed to do ? Lol, that makes me feel better about devising the flat bed rig on my ram 1500. If that truck you got can handle the weight, maybe mine will too. Hahaha

I bow hunt too and yes my deep freeze has be empty since april got 3 last season. We eat some deer meat up quick.

It’s a gear drive and yes it has a hose into the bed tank. Pulls great. I also have a 1 way butterfly valve so when I turn the washer off the line stays primed. Well, I will tell you that while it will handle it (not legally) you should be cautious about using it as a long term solution. When I have 200 gallons of water and 35 gallons of sh the truck really sags and traveling down the road at 60 makes you tense up. I am upgrading to a cab over “semi” this winter. But I’ll be running a 600 gallon tank on that. I’m used to testing that truck to it’s limits. All winter it sits with 2,500 pounds of salt in the bed and 900 pounds on the front with plow. I keep trying to kill the old girl but she won’t die!

I still have salemi sticks I need to eat up!

Wow ford tough huh ?! Haha

It’s been the backbone of the company for 11 years. I have had 3 other trucks come and go. Even f250s haven’t matched this trucks reliability. It’s not the fastest truck I’ve ever owned but it would pull a house if I hooked to it!

I just bought a 2000 ford f150 fx2 sport. Old but a really great running truck.

Will outlive you if you maintain it!

I ONLY run mobile 1 15,000 mile protection in all of my vehicles. Personal and commercial. Change it every 10,000 even though it’s good for 15,000 and it will sing like a sewing machine for years!

Didnt give but $3000 for it after taxes and tag transfer

Ill give that oil a try ive tought about it but was scared to run any oil for more than 3000 miles or 3 months

When you switch from conventional to synthetic let the oil drain for an hour or two. First time you run it I would change it after 5,000. Synthetics and conventional do not mix! I got hooked on it 8 years ago when I started the pilot car business and was changing oil in 3 vehicles every other week.

If your trucks are still kicking after the abuse you put them through i believe it. I was planning on changing the oil on this truck next week. Ill grab some tomorrow after work :+1:

I do 10k on full synthetic too. It can handle it no problem. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey man, I’ve come across this thread and I’m in the same position as you were. I really want to go with the eb4040hc and was Looking at all the machines that you posted but I was debating on the PSI/GPM and all that. How has the eb4040hc been? Any issues? And Do you wish you got the 5.5?

Get a 5.5 if you can afford it.

I wish I would have got a 8 lol. Spend the money if you got it. I would get the 4 over the 5.5 in those size motors though but that’s just me others will say different.

No issue other than me snapping the weak pull cord. Replaced it with paracord and haven’t had a issue. Get the skid version of the pressurepro not the ones with wheels.
