Google business profile

Things have been very slow for me starting out. Coronavirus, and being operational for only about 5 months now has been rough.
Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of exposure from my Google business profile. It’s up to about 6 views a day, 90 in the last month. The problem is that not one of these people have called me. It has lead to exactly 0 additional work. I was wondering if anyone would like to check it out and give me feedback on what can be improved. Any insight on why these people are shopping but not buying would be helpful.

I know it’s a catch 22, gotta get more reviews.

I don’t know how google tracks views, but have to think that at least 90% of them aren’t actually looking for your services.

These numbers are low for me for this time of year, and call volume reflects it:

A good busy season for me has a total activity over 3k, and total views close to 2k. And I’m just a solo operator in a very small market.

Reviews are critical to getting biz from any platform, especially google.

It would help to add a website. If people find your Google business they usually would want to continue to your website then to a contact form of some sort

Thanks for the insight. I know that I need a website, but that takes money too. I am owed a few reviews from free work I did for friends, that haven’t followed through yet. I will bring up the subject, and seek out some more.

Ask every single time, follow-up is key.

If you’re strapped for time and want to keep it low budget GoDaddy is selling a domain (website name) and hosting for $12 for the first year. Then use someone on www.fiverr.com to build you a very basic website for $25 or so.

Wow that is cheap! I will definitely look into that!
