I’m going tommorow to look at this house. I got this from Google, so not sure how it is actually gonna look. Does anyone have a recommendation on cleaning the siding? I’m gonna be down streaming. I was thinking a .5 percent mix, does this sound correct?
Edit: Guys, in my next reply I fully corrected grammar and photo errors. Sorry
@Infinity let me try this again. I am going to look at this house tomorrow. Pic is from Google Earth. Just wondering due to the color, what percentage of SH would be used to clean it. Here is the photo.
Looks like stucco or dryvit. If so you going to need a stronger mix if it’s dirty. DS might not clean it. I’m horrible with percentages but I use straight SH or my roof pump for stucco.
I seen your other post about draw rates. Please take my advice and pass on this job. If your not confident with your draw rates, and you don’t have a 12v pump or an Xjet then stay away from Stucco.
If you had a 4gpm machine with an injector drawing 9-1 and your using 14-15 % SH then there are some stucco you can do depending on how dirty it is.
If your only drawing 20-1 …stay away!! Pass on this
.5% might not even work on vinyl if it’s cold outside. .6% is the minimum I use on vinyl in the summer which works pretty well but I prefer closer to 1% But as others said you need a much stronger mix for stucco
@Patriotspwashing I do have a 12v pump roof wash system. It pumps 3.6 gpm. As big as this house is, with my wand for roof cleaning, it will not reach the top, it just sprays a mist is all. Is there a way I can convert it to reach, or do I just make my pole longer?
@Innocentbystander I’m new to this so I was asking questions. I haven’t bought anything yet. The injector I have now came with my system. I know nothing about down streaming. I’m trying to learn.
I know zero about downstreaming, but I will say my M5 has worked beautifully and is super easy to swap out those little inserts to adjust your mix. I also did the lance mod but haven’t had the chance to try it yet.
With my 4gpm I can 3:1 if I wish, possibly more. Sucks it down pretty quick!
