Getting back into window cleaning

We’re getting it good here too.

We are getting a ton of rain here in Socal surprisingly… For Sure Record Breaking

We’re supposed to get some too but so far not a thing really. The roads are perfect just a little buildup on the windshield.

Sand Point & Clark Forks areas are incredible

We have maybe an inch didnt start until about 1 though. Roads are just freezing not much snow though.

What you dont want to chuck 50lb bags over and over into your salt spreader? hahaha

I’m just growing concern for the stability of my mailbox! She can’t handle the weight of all the checks that keep getting left in her!

In all seriousness, im ready for spring. This has been the most expensive and most stressful winter I’ve had in 11 years of snow removal. We are getting 2-3 inches of snow here in 24 hours. Blaire and I are doing our 6 year anniversary dinner and going to do a painting lesson tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully those plans go uninterrupted by snow shenanigans.

Expensive and stressful…But has it been profitable?

And Happy Anniversary by the way! Hope you guys have a great time and uninterrupted!

My profit checks won’t really show up until April May June and July. We’re into equipment rental, new equipment and trucks, salt, labor and fuel for $65,000 already.

Right now most of the checks that come in leave my account within the month for expenses.

Once all the bills are paid off over the next 30 I’ll be able to keep my final 4 contract payments from my large contract.

Thank you! Hopefully it’s a nice relaxing day.

Dang, that’s a big number! Guess the saying it takes money to make money is true! Haha

It doesn’t take money, it takes time. Just like our pressure washing businesses here. We all were the little guy at one time. It’s up to you how big you want to make it! It’s also all relative meaning the bigger you get the bigger you fall. If your just starting out pressure washing and your pw motor blows it can devistate you for a week or two. For me if a plow goes down it can mean huge loss. But as you get bigger the little things like flat tires or busted rear ends don’t even phase you. They just become daily life.

Everyone on this form has the ability to become a huge success! You just have to set realistic goals and work hard to meet them. I am in no way rich, but I’m giving er hell trying!

I do not want employees. I like the freedom I have. My 3 year goal is to average 100k per year. It’s tough in my Market but I’m versatile enough to make it possible by cleaning everything from houses to commercial to propane storage tanks. I know I can’t do that without thinking outside of the box

That’s only $625 a day over 8 months, 20 work days per month. You can do that Kenny! That’s less than 2 house washes here, but if you really want to do that you could charge a flat rate of $312.50 for average 2 story homes and be home by noon everyday!
