Is that really something to add to the checklist? Never heard of it.
Not all batteries are serviceable. If there are caps on top they can be topped off with distilled water. Doing so can make them last longer as well. If you don’t see any easily removable caps or cap then it’s not serviceable. They usually say to check the level if they do have caps.
