Ford Focus Truck?!

For the Ford enthusiast who felt the Explorer Sport-Trac was too big and not quite weird enough…

Prepare yourself friends… there will be people here looking for advice on how to build skids for these…

And I’m going to make skids for them… but wait! There’s more! They shall all receive 1 FREE JROD sweater with every order

Anyone remember when Ford said they were going to stop making cars to focus on trucks? :man_facepalming:

That thing looks horrendous

I guess if you worked out of an el camino this would be a step up?!? Little known fact… in Guatemala el Camino means “the camino”.

Who cares what it looks like? I could see this being very useful for the average truck buyer. A newbie could run a small business out of that thing, it would be sufficient for everything but hauling water.

If they can get the price point and options right, it could be a big hit.

You hit the nail on the head. It’s ugly, but for fleet sales for something like window cleaning companies this is perfect. I’d still take the Ford transit connect over this, but think about a solo small delivery service.

I think you could start a business around this vehicle. But it is ugly. Lol

I would still take my old 94 Nissan Hardbody over this thing. Lol

I strongly support small trucks back to our market that has seen small/midsize pickups grow to be larger than the older full size…

That thing is awful… id drive a Suzuki X90 before i drove that thing.

Id love the old toyota pickups to come back.

They aren’t for me. I really want a GMC Canyon Diesel. The fuel mileage is incredible and I think they would be great for pulling a small boat, small lawncare or pressure washing trailer.

You know @Infinity is kicking himself for not waiting

That’s the problem. I bought a 2500 HD instead. But now that I have a full-size I want the little one even more haha

Ya i remember. Now they are laying off alot of thier European companies to focus on electric motors

Haha. I’m actually thankful that Toyota didn’t bring something similar to market before I got the Tacoma. Would’ve been very tempting. But I honestly couldn’t do what I’m doing with any smaller a truck.

Let me tell you about my temptation. Neighbors father passed away just before Christmas. He is working on the estate and paying off bill’s for his dad. Pops had a 2017 4 door Tacoma, v6, all the goodies with just under 20k miles. Payoff is $15k. Son doesn’t want the truck. Bad thing is it’s 2wd. I kinda want it but saving a little horde away for my mustang.

If purchase price would be $15k that sounds very cheap!

All joking aside I’ll come get it this weekend and give you a finders fee if that is a deal he would be willing to take
