Flojet 1/2" G57

Just went out and bought a gas compressor to convert to a air roof cleaning setup. Have seen the flojet g57 diaphragm pop up a lot. Anybody have experience with this? Also going to buy a water separator as recommend by all the guys running air setups. Is there any other major parts im missing? New to the air setup.

Buy an all-flo preferably 1/2 inch. I have 10 year old ones still working.
A cheap air pressure regulator/ filter is all you need. I actually run oilers on mine. Pumps run better and are better protected when you pop a diaphragm and SH goes into the pump

Ive never seen an air compressor that didnt come with a regulator already mounted which this one does have. Ill most likely go with the all-flo since its been recommend by so many of you. Which side does the water seperator go on? Before or after the diaphragm? I know some of these questions may seem stupid but im completely new to air setups, the only thing ive used compressor for is air tools! Also, how much distance does a pump like this give you for dry priming? I see a lot of guys just use a drop stick to pull chem, but from my experience with 12v pumps they claim to be self priming but always need a bit of help.

Everything is before the diaphragm because they are inside the pump. The best Way to run them is setting you compressors pressure all the way up . Then install a filter/regulator and Oiler at the pumps air inlet.
The pumps prime very well but keep in mind the more mechanical torque required to pull results in lest torque to push. A shorter suction side performs better.
If you can swing it buy the 1/2 not the 3/8. You will go through diaphragms much more often with a 3/8 compared to the 1/2” . I don’t consider the 3/8 an industrial pump the. The 1/2” is a true industrial pump and is unmatched in reliability

If u can’t swing the all-flo this 1/2 aro I have been trying out no complaints yet. It is around 250 less have put around a 1000 gallons of straight sh and a many gallons of Diesel. But the all-flo is the best. JMO

What pump model is it?

This is it I had a 100 dollar off coupon for each one I ordered.
