I have two.

The best quality one is the 12” Mosmatic FL-EG 300. Full stainless, sealed swivel, expensive but is four years old and still going. It can be too powerful and hard to handle sometimes due the smaller diameter = faster rotation.

The other is a 14” BE Whirl-A-Way. It’s nowhere near the quality of the Mosmatic. It’s faster due to the size and it’s cheap. The problem with this one is that it flips forwards, backwards in fact all over the place due to the way it clips on and havjng nothing to tighten. (The Mosmatic has an adjustable head angle which is awesome for kerbs).

This is the exact model I use in this post here:

The technique is to stay in line, or directly behind the SC head, it dramatically reduces fatigue/wrestling with the pressure feedback.

Also, cleaning from the bottom up is the way to go, not the top. Doing it from the top can let you miss parts with the run-off hiding it.

Best way is to literally walk the whole wall up and down I find. Treat it like a kerb, walk up, walk back - only a few more times!

You ALWAYS need to rinse the wall with the wand afterwards too. It doesn’t do the whole job :+1:t2:

Can you change out the nozzles? I tried one of these on my 5gpm a while back and it took off like a rocket ship. I can’t imagine it is good for the surface being cleaned or the machine. Much less on anything larger then 5gpm.

The nozzles in both are the same as any SC nozzles, so any pressure you want is achievable (4000psi downwards).

I’m not sure what you mean by not good for the machine? It’s just a SC with a smaller diameter.

Mosmatic don’t make anything that isn’t fit for purpose :+1:t2:

I was referring to the Simpson/BE/box store type cleaners that do not have interchangeable nozzle heads. But thanks for the info on mosmatic. Bid a 10k foot brick wall :crossed_fingers: if I get it this sure would speed things up.

The BE’s bar, nozzles and swivel are just the same to swap out as the Mosmatic :+1:t2:
