First "job" done!

Normally don’t like northern tool but this may be in you budget. I like ridgid but it makes you bend over more and all the stress is on you thin lance…
This one has a little more support so its a compromise. I like water cannon but I like wheels better…

18 inch surface cleaner - Google Shopping

Nothing came up

Comes up when I hit it. Go to northern tool and search for:

Powerhorse Pressure Washer Surface Cleaner - 16 Inch Diameter, 3500 psi, 5 GPM

Hammerhead makes really good stuff. Definitely a step up from the rigid you posted. You will make your 289 back fast, then you’ll wish you bought a bigger one to get done even faster. I have a 24" and thinking about going to a 32+ for parking lots. You spent the cash on a good pump, spend the cash on a good surface cleaner. You won’t regret it.

Here is a link to the caster kit for the Hammerhead surface cleaner. I have two 20" Hammerheads that I purchased from Northern Tool. After adding the casters I have noticed that the skirts last longer.

If that’s what it takes to get started it’s still going to be better than the wand. My vote is buy it. Use it for a month to expedite your jobs and buy a proper one.

Ive had a rigid for about 5 years. Way before I started my business. Its been used too many times to count. I let anyone washing their driveway use it. The neighbors love me lol. Dude, you gotta add some bleach. You will be glad you did.

Its hard to find the SH you guys use here in my city, probably kind of impossible, if i am not mistaken it has like a 10%-12% of concentration . I have read that you can use domestic bleach (the one you use for your house). I found a recipie of a house wash mix that in a bucket of 5 gallons you add:
5 liters of house bleach
300-400 ml of surfuctant, which can be soap for dishes
And the rest of water

And you apply it with the black nozzle , let it rest for 5-10 minutes and then pressure wash

What do you think?

Do you have any pool stores in the area or chemical distributors or plants? If so you can get your SH from them I know walmart and dollar tree sell it in 8.5% if your in a bind and it works well.

Base recipe is 3 gallons of SH to 2 gallons water when down streaming. If you cant find 10-12% SH you can use straight SH into a 5 gallon bucket. I know @squidskc goes straight SH and does not dilute or used to run straight SH.

Throw your black tip away and buy a jrod for softwashing. If your using the black tip from the pressure washer more then likely your using the white or green tip. That is not a low pressure tip that comes with the machine.

Another observation is to buy a shorter Lance for your gun. You have your elbow up by your ear which not only is tiring but will cause you wrist and shoulder problems.

Good observation, my fingers hurt for pressing the trigger, whenever i got tired i would hold it like a bazooka by pressing the trigger with my thumb, i got a long wand because i want to do fleet wash, but i will take your advice. Thanks!

Get you a piece of Velcro to hold your trigger down

Another thing to consider, and I think @squidskc would agree is to buy backup equipment where reasonable. If it is that difficult to come across items where you live. It has saved my butt more than once to be able to finish a job and not have to fix something on the spot. For instance have two hoses. If one breaks just disconnect one and keep going. Good luck brother

Back ups for your back ups. You’re gonna need it.

Don’t do that. Gun is designed to stop spraying if dropped.

Thats what I used to do.

Then The Velcro broke so I just glued the trigger open. As soon as the engine is running, the water is spraying.

Don’t do this
