I know some of you have had to of dealt with this before. I don’t care that much about other local competition but I do for sleezeballs. New guy locally who has 18 5 star reviews all from 3 months ago on google. I’m in Michigan, we are one of the very few companies locally that will wash in 38 degrees. 3 months ago it was 15 degrees and a foot of snow.
Are there services out there now creating fake bots for reviews?
Would almost guarantee you could find something like that on Fiverr
Or maybe he reached out to all of his customers over the past year with a review link and begged for reviews retroactively… but I’m with Jay. Fiverr has some stuff like that for driving hundreds and even thousands of visits to a website daily.
Although part of me wants to believe that Fiverr would shut that down pretty fast.
I actually didn’t mind washing when it was 37 degrees here. Maybe because leading up to it before it was consistently in the teens & that felt like a heat wave haha

Apparently it’s not particularly legal to do and individuals have been sued. If you’re going to be a dirty business owner I hope they lose their business. Karma will catch up.

Lot’s of things in business and life that are beyond your control, integrity is not one of them. It will come back to haunt them. I am guilty of occasionally damning my “competitor’s” with faint praise when it comes to fence staining. They just haven’t studied their craft so all I have to do is be thorough and honest, the rest sorts itself out. PW has been the same here for me. I believe @Patriotspwashing is in my AO but all my PWing is an up sell from my fence staining so we are not really competing. I only mention that because from what I have read here they are a solid company and I don’t want to imply anything else.
