If you get a chance, pull that property up on Google maps and measure out the drive and walks.
Thatâs a big driveway but will clean up nice. Weâre in totally different markets but did this driveway/ sidewalk and a little pad in the back for $500. Was a little over 5000sqft
How much soap would you add per gallon to your SH for the specific driveway I posted?
$800 total in my neck of the woods
Donât do that. These engines and pumps are designed to run at pretty specific RPMs for cooling and ultimately to be run at full throttle after start up.
Thisâll cause some problems over the long run.
You should be able to pull soap at full throttle with the right nozzles.
Hey Trinity. Seeing you are in central Florida as wellâŚ
I know this an odd request but Iâd be willing to work for you for a weekend for free if you show me the ropes a bit. Iâd like to get some hands on experience. I am clean-cut, drug free, & reliable.
I apologize if this isnât allowed here. I will delete comment if thatâs the case. Have a good day.
In fact, I donât even mess with the throttle at start up. This hasnât been touched since Iâve owned it. I always shut down and start up with trigger open if itâs just a house. House and flatwork, ball valve wide open for 15 sec.
@Maelstrom or @Dogby92 is who you want to ask. No offense intended, but @WeAreTrinity doesnât know the ropes yet.
Or If youâre willing to drive to Georgia, Iâd pay @gbattle and the above two for the training.
Give me a zip code. Thanks.
Me? Why donât you ask the people I tagged if theyâll do paid training? If you want the training put in a little effort. LOL, I donât memorize everybody ZIP Codes.
My fault. Misunderstanding. I read it as you lived in Georgia and the names you listed were your employees.
Just keep reading this forum, read every single post. Youâll learn a ton
I like the âhow muchâ posts⌠sometimes. Itâs fascinating how much different each area/market is.
How much in your area is this house. I charged $450. Its 3 stories and about 50 feet deep. No decks out back. Some guys could get $500-$550 here but when I originally bid it I did driveway and sidewalks so I cut a little off the house.
@squidskc does starting and shutting down with the trigger open make a difference? I always run mine wide open, but Iâve never once started or stopped with the trigger open.
You should always start it with the trigger held. In my opinion anyway. Shutting down donât hold it and let the unloader do its job.
With an unloader doing itâs job, it may not matter if thereâs no air in the system. But it makes me feel good. If thereâs air in the system, and who knows if there is, you should fire up wide open to purge the air. Air is bad for water pumps.
Iâm superstitious, but I donât think you should ever shut off flow instantly either unless you drop the trigger. Who knows if that matters, but I always let the flow shut off smoothly. Because that too makes me feel better. Hope that makes sense.
If youâve got 200 ft of hose on which most people do, then youâve got at least 15 seconds of run time before it even reaches the gun. I always open ball valve when I roll up hose, so mine is empty.
