awesomewash has rubbed people the wrong way, but i think he is taking all the criticism pretty well, so ill give him credit for that.
Like you said, he is going pretty hardcore with the future planning⌠but like he said, thatâs what people say to do. So⌠shrug dunno. No big whoop, i guess.

This thread doesnât seem to have a point any longer. Itâd be nice if all parties just left it as is and moved on.
@awesomewash1, it doesnât seem like youâre getting any additional advice on this thread. Might as well let it go. If youâre doing better than everyone else, thatâs great. No need to prove it. Next time you have a new question, search the topic then start a fresh thread if you need. No harm in that at all.
Everyone else, canât we just let it go? If his questions or comments are offensive or insulting, just donât post a response. No need to agitate someone who you feel says stupid stuff and isnât doing things the way you think he should. If he asks a dumb question or says he doesnât something wrong on purpose, who cares? Itâs his business, not yours. Respond to legitimate questions. Give legitimated answers. Ignore the crap and eventually itâll filter itself out.
If heâs making money, thatâs great. If heâs doing things all wrong, Iâm sure heâll feel it at some point. Itâs in his hands.
Iâd love to see this thread go dead silent and new conversations started that are actually helpful to people when questions arise or new knowledge is shared. We can all win here.

@awesomewash1 this is the last thing Iâll say (but I wonât stop posting pictures of my childhood icons who can express my emotions faster and funnier than I can.)
I came to this forum with a year+ experience. It transformed my business quite honestly. I had a couple run ins with the old timers until I realized these guys had been doing this for 10+ or even 20+ years and running high 6- and 7- figure businesses.
I did one of the few grown up things Iâve ever done. I decided that my answers werenât the only good ones and made friends with these folks, I did that by trying to be helpful, but when I had a question I shut up and listen. If I didnât get it I asked more questions. Then I shut up and listen.
Now, Iâve got a trailer Iâve built as close to @Racer 's trailer as possible. Iâve tried to copy as many of these folks as possible. @Innocentbystander and I text or chat a couple times a week and all my hoses lead with the male end, I sent $2000 across country for a machine to a relative stranger based on IBS vouching for him. @Greg755 gave me invaluable advice for a YouTube strategy that gets his website viewed more and helped me through it over the phone for a half hour. The list goes on.
When I started asking for advice and just doing it instead of questioning it my business exploded.
@Infinity was the first person I read about using a downsized injector for longer pressure hose if I remember correctly. What do you know? Iâve been doing that since the day after I read it and it works! Maybe that was @tireshark⌠I like you both whoever it was. Lol
I could give you a list of another 20 folks on the forum who have no problem helping people in the business succeed. But guess what, thereâs another 20 folks just lurking because they donât waste time giving goofballs advice they are just gonna dump on and throw a âwell my 20 million dollar mentor who does X,Y, and Z does this.â at them.
No one cares. Not one tiny bit. If those are the mentors youâre convinced will help you grow your business then stop wasting your time here.
@FATJOE dropped a bomb on us the other day about a places we can find udor pumps for half of what other places are charging. Iâd like to hear more from him. @gbattle has dropped some knowledge in other posts and Iâd like to hear more from him. @Greg755 has been MIA for awhile and heâs on the list of people I liked reading their responses as well. That list goes on and on. These guys know what the heck theyâre talking about.
I donât want to speak for them, but I wonder how many guys lurk and donât answer much any more because of trolls such as yourself. Iâm curious how much actual, helpful knowledge has left the forum on account of not wanting to deal with chuckleheads. Thatâs kinda heartbreaking actually.
So my only advice to you (which youâll probably tell me youâre not going to do because of some 20 million something something mentor blah) is to pump the brakes, try some of this stuff, use the search function, donât get in forum battles (that mess is for Facebook), stop chasing folks off because you may find yourself here all alone sooner rather than later, and pick which mentors youâre going to use because we already know youâre not going to use any of our advice.
Best of luck in your business. (I donât care about phone lines or your marketing prowess. Other people here know the same stuff and can share it without making themselves look like a total goon.)

Calling me a troll is being far from accurate. I am not trolling.
I am taking advice from everyone I can and then seeing what works best for me. There is nothing wrong with this.
You say that I have not tried any of this stuff. I bought the stuff you suggest for gutter cleaning. I tried that, I took advice on ladders, and many other things.
Calling people names like âgoonâ is not nice and this is supposed to be a professional place. I donât think name calling falls into professional at all.
