What do you offer and why? Pros and cons and how does it reflect on their salary or wage?

I think you need to take the hourly rate offered into consideration as part of the equation.

For me, my wife has a great job so I do not need any medical benefits and will take family vacations during the slow season.

Some of these guys have larger crews, and if some of their employees are really great employees you do not want to let them go during the slow season.

I personally do not mind busting my butt during the peak times and be rewarded with paid time off during the slower times.

Benefits are not that big of a deal to me at this time, because I do not need them, but it will be interesting to hear what works for some of the other guys.
