Downtime Trailer Rebuild

He may have been joking but vinyl does stick to the tanks pretty well. Just get new tanks. You just spent over $2,000 on powder coating. That’s like $500 more max.

Looks great Nick. Now if you were really all in, I’d find someone to paint the red on the Honda the same color green. A local air brusher, like someone who can do helmets, could do easily.

That’s a cool idea I’ll look into it. It’s a hard color to match because when it’s in the sun it goes between yellow and green. But I’m sure I could find something similar.

I used to drive heavy haul and they company I drove for had all their truck done up like show trucks. I’ve tried to incorporate ideas from trucks into this trailer. I’ve got all new clear lens lights with stainless bezels. The red and amber lights I had would look terrible with the green.

Any other flashy ideas??

I’ve seen a guy on Facebook put green LEDs into his water tank and it looked dope. Said he used fishing dock LEDs. Also just curious, but why is the platform for your hose reels so much bigger than the reels themselves? Feel like you’re really gonna be missing that extra space further down the road

Edit: found a pic of it think it’s a huge eye catcher, I hope to add something similar to my rig in the future

That light up tank is pretty cool.

For the reels are you referring to the empty space below? Because that’s where I store the surface cleaner. It slide under the reels

I just ordered this one off of amazon, I’ll let you know how it looks. Running it off of my 12v roof battery. IllumiSea Ultra Bright 25w 3450 Lumen 12v Green, White, or Blue Underwater LED Fishing Light- Powerful & Innovative Designed Mini BriteBite Attract & Catch More Fish in Fresh & Saltwater https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TCK2RC9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_5iK-FbCRRSGE1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I was referring to the width of it, it is much wider than it needs to be to hold the hose reels

Probably better then these colors @Bigbendwashprosfsu colors…i hear they run real easy…hahahahaaa

I see what you’re saying, I could have brought them closer to the edge. This little trailer is a 5x10 and is already way over weight for the axle and crammed for space. I have everything I should need so I shouldn’t have to put anything more on it. When I’m done building it I’ll take it to the scale and see about putting a 5200# axle on it.

Redoing that rail would create a ton of space. You can see how slim mine are compared to yours

Yeah yours are a lot closer which would open up space in the middle. If I ever add any more equipment or systems I could consider moving the reels. Thanks for the input

It’s too bad we already have 3 Seminole power wash companies in town, and they all do poor work. Otherwise I’d sure be reppin the garnet and gold

HF acid makes poly tank scream they are clean! Get with @Hotshot on how you might be able to source a gallon.

Finished the build and I am pretty happy with it. I took it out in the sun today and it looks amazing. I ran all the equipment and nearly everything worked without any tinkering. The manifold on my metering valves for the soft wash cracked so i couldn’t catch prime, but i replaced it and it was good to go. The bulkhead for the bleach tank was leaking really badly so i replaced that. SO everything seems to work but i guarantee the first job i go on something will break.

Looks great Nick. You’ve got that sucker slammed full. How’s the mix system working with the gas roof system? Have you used yet? Also, what’s the large banjo on left rear for?

It’s too nice to use. Lol

I got that gas system about midway through last season. I really like it the only draw back is that is uses a ton of bleach. If i set it to maybe .75-1% it seems to burn through bleach. I think factors include its a 10gpm pump and it may just be the nature of that system to use more bleach.

The banjo on street side is to bypass the float valve if i want to fill the tank up all the way. I have my float valve set pretty low due to weight but occasionally i’ll need to fill that tank

Too bad my cooler is the orange Gatorade kind. Looks terrible on the green
