Does anybody know if you can use 3/8" hose from your chemical tank to your ball valve before your chemical injector instead of 1/4"? Will it make any difference on how much soap it pulls?

You can, but it won’t.
Either way the pressure differential created in the injector draws the vacuum, and the chems flow because of that. Hose size won’t effect how much flows.
think of it this way - If you are drinking with a straw is it easier to with a thin coffee mixing type straw or a fat milkshake type straw?
