Do you guys use separate sheets... 1 for estimates and 1 for when person agrees to a sale

1 sheet for the estimate and 1 sheet for when the person actually agrees for the services. This sheet would include things like the final price, waivers, terms & conditions, etc. Thanks!

I use one sheet with invoice/ estimate on it. Circle the one you need. Cheaper end easier to keep up with

I’ve never used any forms before or after the sale on residential. They are quoted over the phone most of the time and they are told if there not going to be home leave a check or we’ll call when we’re done to get a credit card.
With that being said my competition also a friend uses a estimate form with almost every customer and because of that he is able to slow the customer down and explain every detail to them and why he has it listed on the estimate. He gets 2 to 3 time the money per house that that I get .

Hey florida condo cleaning. Curious why you don’t use estimate sheets and other forms if its going to possibly cover your ass and/or at the very least get you a few more buckaroonis. Hope everyone’s having a good day!

Because to do that I need to be in front of the customer and I just don’t have the time. I’m usually doing HOA work Mon-Thursday and residential work Friday Saturday and often sundays . It’s just easier for me to lookup the house while I’m on the phone with the customer. Give them a quote then schedule the work. Plus many of my customers are snow bird they may be 2000miles away when they call me. As far as cover my ass . That’s not necessary if I break it either me or my Insurance company will fix it . Laws are screwy in Florida everything falls on the home owners Insurance first then mine for reembersment .
If you have the opertunity the meet the customer and be a salesman your definitely better off and tools like professional estimate forms are great for increasing sales . If I could I would

Make your life easy…

  1. use bidslot marketing to answer your phones… they’ll get your customers name, phone, email, and address…what services

2). End of the day use house call pro and send out estimates from that day (usually 4-6 estimates a days takes 20 minutes)

I’ve talked to three customers on the phone in the last 2 months… went from spending hours every week doing bids to under an hour for the entire week.

Sending estimates through email allows you to upsell and communicate to customers.

I use Customer Factor for estimates and scheduling. It has made sending estimates and tracking customers payments and jobs so much easier. It’s a lot cheaper than House Call Pro with a lot of the same features.

What is bid slot . When the customer calls is there a person that answers ? If so do I need a separate phone number? Keep in mind the only marketing I do is phone number on the truck and Buisness cards . Most of my residential work is either repeat or referral . A marketing bases incoming call center won’t do me much good until I start doing some

You can forward or port your number to them, they answer all your business calls. They can do a lot more, manage your CRM, scheduling, and other things you want.

I do call service only.

Call April, you will not be disappointed…it’s been amazing for me.

After every call they send you an email with the details…99% of my calls are people wanting a quote. Bidslot gets there info, tells them that a quote will be emailed to them in the next 24 hours.

Here’s a screenshot of my emails, this is from one day…each tab opens up with detailed info needed for the quote. I set a filter in my email so they all go to a separate folder then just my normal inbox. Then I just use google street view, zilllow/trulia for estimates

I tried Housecall pro and customer factor has more features so I switched back

Yes, live person…small office of a few employees so they get to know your business personally

Sounds very interesting almost like a personal secretary. Not sure it would work for me currently but when I get around to doing some marketing I’ll be giving them a call.

It has nothing to do with marketing…

You only pay for the time used …5 hours for $179. A phone call is typically 2 minutes
