Dewalt Pressure Washer

Anyone on here ever use dewalt pressure washer? They have one with a Honda gx series engine, 3800psi, 3.5gpm for $799. Worth it?

If you’re working professionally…no.

The engine is solid, but the pump is direct drive and likely a good paperweight.

This is a good starting point…

Lightweight Aircraft Grade Aluminum Frame EZ-View Sight Glass No Welds to Crack, Break, or Fail General Belt Drive Pump, ( 3 V-Belts ) Gen. Pulsar Modular Unloader with EZ Start Valve 4GPM @ 4000 PSI, 13 HP Honda Engine 50’ High Pressure Hose with QC

I’ve actually heard some good things from a window washers that’s running a Dewalt for about 20-25 hrs a week. No problems he says. Had it for over 1 year. He is upgrading to do more work…

My dad had one last year, with comet pump, unloader failed within one weekend’s use…he then took it back and got it repaired by home depot. Then after he got it, no pressure…

I guess it’s hit or miss then lol

That be me. I have the slightly bigger DEWALT 4200psi 4.0gpm unit. Works great. Just ordered a 5.5 gpm 3000 psi belt driven unit today.

Upgrading only because I want to draw from the tank in my trailer.

It may be good for a window cleaner but if your gonna run it 5 days a week 8 hours a day you need something more solid. Nothing under 4 gpm. And belt driven if you can swing it.

True

Thanks guys. I’d only be using it 4-5 hours per week but I certainly don’t want something that is going to give me trouble…

Mine works great getting that much use

The Honda motor is a tank! But the jury is still out on the longevity of the pump on this Dewalt power washer.

I’ve got one that I have used several times on decks and did one house wash with it. I haven’t had any problems out of it so far. Don’t know if I would make it my every day machine though.
