Did a wash yesterday for a regular and we talked fishing for a bit. I asked him how many miles on his 2009 Toyota: 6,000. After I picked my jaw up off the ground I told him to call me if he ever wants to sell.

Trust me, you don’t want that. Better off having 190,000 miles. A Toyota mechanic said these are designed to run…a lot, so sitting around is bad for the mechanicals.
My SIL has a 2009 Honda Civic with 20k on it. It’s her only car although her husband has much older Mazda PU.

I figured someone would bring that up. I 100% agree that driving a vehicle is better than it sitting but I’d be willing to roll the dice on a Toyota V6.

Change all the fluids, grease the drive shafts, and run it. See what happens. Those things are hard to kill. Ive got 235000 on tundra and expect another 100k easy
