M5DS is money well spent and will save your butt when washing vynal thats has oxidation, low porch ceilings, soffits, etc. But i dont know about a jrod anyways. I used mine on one house and my M5DS came in and tossed the jrod in the tool box. Mine was the 4 nozzle jrod bob sells with the tips.
Wow really? Is it always under two months? Or just one that did that?
I would call them and tell them what happened.
My first one lasted 4 months but I used it half as much. They still work, the fins just wear out so the stream patter changes and it’s not as useful. I still use it dont get me wrong, I just have to switch to my rod when I need precision or extra distance.
Ahh. Well ill just switch to my shooter tip when it finally comes in.
I dont really like how it starts locking up if not permanently mounted to a lance or gun either. That starts after 2 weeks of use. Need 2 hand to adjust it if it’s on a quick connect. I’m nit picking but crap like that bugs me more than it should.
I got that stupid nozzle just to try out, honestly wasnt even sure if i really wanted it… Jrod is awesome, no issues with oxidation unless you hammering away with tighter nozzles when yiu shudnt be.
I mounted it to a 6 inch lance then put a quick connect on the lance but I still need 2 hands sometimes.
You can bend the fins as you want, no?
I’m too much of a sissy to try that without a YouTube video to give me step by step instructions. I’m guessing my fan would look like Micky mouse by the time I was done.
I seen one where a guy welded aluminum to the end and made it basicly indestructible but he wouldn’t send me one! I’m sure I have some blame to share as well I tend to toss the gun around and get dirt and junk in it alot .
Mine or racers that get more of a beating doesnt locks down. I can freely twist it for different angles freely. You must be rough on your stuff. I did yank my brand new hose on piece of rebar yesterday taking a chuck out of it exposing a wire. Stood there looking at the rebar mad at myself for being to lazy to walk over and free it by hand:joy: learned a lesson.
