Color Laser Printer Recommendations

Please offer any insite to you might have in regards to color laser printer in the $300-500 range. I don’t really need a multi-function unit, but card stock capabilities would be good.

I just bought this and am pretty happy. The 3D scanner is just a plus to it, but really like the printer for the money.

I have always had good luck with Brother. I had a Title Abstracting company and we would print around a thousand pages a day. We used the same brother printer for years. Very dependable. Brother has several color laser printer in your price range

I bought a Brother MFC-940CN about 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since. I have a background in graphics design, so admittedly am pretty sensitive about print quality. But the color prints off of this laser are pretty bad - (fading, inconsistency and lack of vibrant colors). The black and white prints are fine. Maybe I just got a lemon, I don’t know, but IMO HP make a much better product. My dad and my brother both got HP color printers about the same time I got mine. A little slower ppm but they produce vibrant, consistent color. HP would definitely be my choice if I were buying a new printer today.

I have four laser by HP. And one inkjet (scanner) from HP. I like HP…lol. Cost and longevity have been influential for me in continuing to buy HP.

I just came across this thread, I actually bought a Epson WF-3540 yesterday…pretty pleased with it…still trying to figure out some details on it.

What did it run you?

$129…plus 24 bucks or something for the extended warrant from Office Depot.
