I have always used a 6 gallon bucket and pre mixed my house wash but i have seen on some of the bigger pw set ups they pull chemicals straight from there chemical tank. How does that work?

Depends on how many jobs you do. If you do t do many, stick with the bucket to keep from wasting chems. If you do a lot, then maybe move up to a 35 gallon tank with a ball valve to shut it off when not pulling chems.
