Carburetor on a GX690

Screen filter. You got well water in the tank?

Yes. I have a filter before going to tank and one coming off the water tank to the machine

Is the screen clean. I have lost water flow from clogged filters when guys forget to flush the hydrants

I will head out there and try that now.

take the screen out and run it

That’s not it. What is to much hose between the water tank and Pw and height of the Pw from the tank?

Post some pics of your set up. I would almost guarantee that it is a plumbing issue. I don’t have much to say about the guys at the L&H in savannah, but you can take your rig up Savannah Cleaning Systems off Dean Forest and have them run through it and replumb for about $100

L and H are in bed with the uamcc so they should be off limits. Over 4 feet high machine needs check valve for water feed. Need one inch gose, not poly braid

This pic is one I took earlier today while putting my trailer together. I can send one tomorrow after I get up that you can see better. The shelf is 2 1/2 feet about the trailer. I have the hose running straight to the back and the over and up to the machine. I’m using the poly spiral suction hose I got from Pressure Tek.

Where did you get that filter? I’d test machine w/o it just to see. You’ve got about a 10’ run there it looks like. Plus the elevation. If new machine doing the same thing then go to be a problem in the feed line somewhere.

The old setup had only 3 feet of hose. The filter came from Pressure Tek. I’m going to put a new filter on tomorrow

Get a blue top or one of those banjo y filters

Can you get them at a local store?

Probably not

just try w/o one for a min. If it’s better then you know.

Yeah. That’s a fairly long run. Those filters will also cause issues if they are not perfectly vertical.

Someone suggested I adjust the unloaded. I did so and it “appears “ to have fixed my Pressure issue. I need to now hook up my older PW and check it.
