The ball inside can get stuck on the o-ring, take a needle or something and poke into the intake bung to free it up. I’ve had brand new injectors be INOP right off the shelf.

I just have a 4GPM 4000 psi ya might have to get my hands on that.
Definitely go with the smaller injector. There was just a thread about a month ago where someone couldn’t get their injector to pull. They had a 4 gpm. Tried almost everything. Finally picked up a 1.8 and that took care of it.

What length of pressure hose are you using?
200 foot on the reel.

I use 1.8 for my 4gpm and 5.5 gpm with both 150’ and 200’ with no problems.

All this talk about bad injectors jinxed me. I just had my 3 week old injector go. It would work with no attachments but not with my jrod or M5. I thought my injector was messing with the pressure. Got home and new injector just came in the mail. I had the same injector for entire season last year. This year I’ve been through 4 already.

y, the quality control or maybe the oring seems to vary. I had one that lasted 6 months and then went thru 2 in 2 weeks. One in now been good for about 3 weeks now, knock on wood. I keep at least 3 made up so I can just snap them in if needed, plus a couple more new ones in spares.
