Can housewashes just be done with a JROD?

Hello there, I am completely new to pressure washing and have been watching several different youtube videos for information. For just starting out, would you be able to do housewashes with just a JROD? From my understanding based on the JROD tips, you can choose to alternate between using chemicals and just plain water. So would just a pressure wash system, downstream injector, hose, SH, surfactant, and JROD be all you need? Let me know if this question does not make sense

yes if you’re doing vinyl houses. downstreamers can’t get hot enough for brick/stucco.

To get started that would be sufficient, you could Even without do it without a jrod and just move your dropstick over to a bucket of water whenever your done soaping but that would require a bunch of trips back to the truck.

I prefer a remote DS remote which allows me to wirelessly turn off and on my soap as I find the j rod tips for rinsing can be a bit high in pressure. A parts list can easily be found with a quick search on here or I know the schertz box by @SchertzServicesLLC is highly though of among us professionals

I’m still a beginner, but so far I’ve cut one of mine (Jrod) in half, and threw a 0050 and 2550 in there. The 00 is shooting just as far and as clean as all of the “shooter” tips, and the 25 is a nice fan pattern. I have it on a 6" stainless pipe. I think I remember reading it from @Innocentbystander once, please correct me if I’m wrong though.

That’s all I use, 4 nozzle jrod. The 00 HP comes in handy when blasting crusty layers of dead…whatever off gutters.

Do more research and become more familiar with the process. Do some research on here and before you know it you’ll have a good understanding.

I go to sleep with a jrod and turbo nozzle in my pocket.
