Business Plan - Right Track?

I get that, but the arguments are always, why get that when you can have this for X less, or fir just a little more $$ you can have this or that, the more is better argument. Sorry durham, but Im just a built not bought guy, and I regret not going bigger.

Thatā€™s a sweet little set up!

As for safety, They have trailer locksā€¦ And as long as everything is bolted on, you should be just fine! My trailer sit out side year round

For coupler locks, this type is the way to go. Check out Proven industries coupler lock. If using chain only use pewag security chain, and Viro locks. A definite investment.

I looked at his Facebook page and itā€™s the same guy. He took his videos down for some reason but itā€™s the same guy and same trailer. In his video he turned the camera on himself while he talked so itā€™s definitely him. I donā€™t think he was ever on this forum that I know of. But itā€™s a clean simple set up. Some here donā€™t like the GP hose reels. I have one for my pressure hoseā€¦the swivel has locked up on me twice in two years but a little wd40 and itā€™s good to go for a few months. This is a set up that a lot of guys would end up with in year 2-3 of Pressure Washing. Some guys go big with 8gpm but unless youā€™re doing 4 houses/day 5 days a week and commercial flatwork then 5.5gpm is fine. His advice in his videos were spot onā€¦itā€™s a shame he took them down. I think his trailer setup video where he explained how he set everything up had something like 70k views and his video of him washing a one story house had even more views. He did a lot of homework before putting the trailer together.

Oh ok. Not sure why he took it down. He completely got out of the business. Iā€™m heading to see it and hopefully pick it up tomorrow $2,900 plus he said there are some things heā€™s going to throw in there also that werenā€™t in the ad. I think this is perfect for me to start off with.

Time to get my hands on experience. Iā€™ve pressure washed before, but not at this level and not soft washing.

Wish me luck everyone!

Finally home! Talk about a day! You guys should have seen me trying to see if I could push that thing up the hill in my driveway LMAO! Had to take it to the gfā€™s house and push it up a smaller hill.

Good God something has to give lol. I emptied the water but that thing is still heavy as hell. May look into using a local storage place down the road to store it securely. If nothing else as a last resort I can ditch the trailer and just make a setup out of the back of my truck. Iā€™m going to think on what options I have for a little while. As of now itā€™s safe and secure at her house. Sure wasnā€™t thinking about this two months ago when I bought my first home!

Good to hear!

Best of luck!!

Storage unit might be a good ideaā€¦most chemical suppliers wonā€™t deliver 55 gallon drums of sh to residential anyways.

Awesome man! Best of luck!

You got your self a great set up!!!

This supplier spoke like they would be loading it in my truck and then itā€™s up to me lol. So Iā€™m not sure about delivery. I am going to explore other sources for sh.

First step is done. Gotta work 8 hours tomorrow and then Iā€™m gonna grab my rig and do a little messing around on my own house and drive with just regular store bought just for practice.

Glad it worked out for you. Did the guy show you some pointers while you were there? A lot of stuff youā€™ll learn on here and on your own with experience.

He did. Spent two hours there. Also made sure to tell me to make sure I winterize before the first freeze to protect my investment.

Why u pushing it dude???

Congrats in the purchase, you made a good decision.

Congratulations on your purchase.

My driveway is too steep to back it in. Just the angle of everything sucks.

You can back that thing in there. Make sure the trailer is balanced height wise with different drop/rise hitches. Make sure itā€™s level. When you back in do so at an angle then cut it hard. I have a steep driveway too, but I havenā€™t had any problems as long as the trailer is leveled out.

Iā€™ll try again lol, but I canā€™t even back out of my driveway in just my truck with the towing hitch in. I found that out quick. Even backing out at an angle the damn hitch just digs into the road. Maybe the picture is deceiving.
