Bidslot

Yes that sounds right. The sales person is the real critical person in this.
I just talked to my wife who was also at Aprils Bidslot presentation at NOLA and my wife is very focused and has never been accused of having “ADD” like yours truly(Where’s Thad…lol), Kathy was saying that her impression was that Bidslot pass on leads to the contractors who go in to meet with the potential client…

But hey nothings perfect and something’s work for some but not others.
It would be beneficial and educational for Phil to expound on that Bank mishap and for April or one of her staff to explain what could of happened there…

The net is here to stay but if neither felt interested enough to respond thru the net… That’s fair because still the only way to know for sure about Bidslot is to try them and see if they work for you… There on our list to possibly try because the smartest people in this business keep telling me the best time to really keep at it with your Marketing it to do it also when your real busy so your phone doesn’t stop ringing and that day/week/month comes by when you have nothing planned and there goes your workers.

Really John? Come on. One day they want a bid for window cleaning and the next day they close up shop. Not buying that one for a second.

I understand things happen but that one seems pretty off to me. I might give them a try to see for myself. I sure hope for their sake and mine that shady stuff dosent happen.

Josh has been a NOLA regular for the last few years. He is a VIP.
I just met April last time but she is awesome.

I personally guarantee that she will make it all right for you or anyone else that tries their service. I’m not a customer, or an affiliate, and they haven’t paid a dime for a banner here. I have only heard good things about Bidslot or they never would have been represented at NOLA 2012.

They are simply good folks who provide a good service.

I only took a shot in the dark about why that bank was closed down. No an uncommon site to see a branch one day and then the next the bank branch has shut down. Shizz I blew my tranny a few yrs back. The company that fixed it said to come back in 2 weeks so they can check it out… So we go and there is a guy screaming because he’s tools are liked inside. The tranny place overnight shut the place down… So shizz happens…and yup my tranny has since blown again but now I have a great mechanic and lesson learned there for sure.

We need someone who was involved In this post to tell us exactly what happened… But I’m not holding my breath.

Sorry, I haven’t logged in for a few days… The bank mishap was very frustrating and by the looks of it, it was shut down for a long time. It’s possible that the number was the same and the address they gave me was wrong, but I didn’t get very far when I called the number for the appointment. It’s been a long time and my point of everything was that April took over when I had issues with appointments and showed sincere concern.

My post wasn’t meant to slam BidSlot, it was just honest feedback showing what happened with my company, and that April took action to correct the issues even though in the end it just didn’t work out for us. It was a different service than they were used to setting up appointments for, but that doesn’t change the fact that it was frustrating to spend my time going to appointments that were usually a bust. Towards the end, I lost my positive attitude because of so much BS and started to expect them to not know who I was or why I was there. As I said, it could have all been due to who was making the calls, I don’t really know, but I did feel that April would get things straightened out eventually if I stuck with them.

Thanks for the feedback.

This is great feed back. Phil, thank you for this feed back, and your honest opinion. You and I know we have already spoke of this in depth. So I will give input.

First, I would like to mention Phil is wonderful as are most of all the people I work with and for  I would also like to mention, Phil and I have discussed continuing with our business relationship, but changing directions and focus on another industry. Phil reached out to BidSlot to continue our working relationship after the campaign we are speaking of and I believe it is because of my sincere understanding and taking it personally what happened on a bid appointment for him.

It takes feed back constant communication between the company and our office and anything not working can be turned around. I can not stress the communication between both parties being crucial enough to make the program work.

BidSlot is rockin with the quality of appointments. We are pulling all the necessary info to take the lead from cold to warm…some hot. Like all sales and marketing tools, some appointments may not work out. Our effort is never to waste anyone’s time or $$ on fuel driving to and from appointments. We do what we do to help add work to your schedule.

BidSlot is a marketing approach to grow your business. Just as when you send a post card mailer of 1000 and expect to have a percentage returned undeliverable, or an email blast and have some unsubscribe from your blasts, you can expect some of your appointments to not be successful. This is not the goal when the appointment is set, but it is the reality of what happens in real life marketing. Expecting to sell 100% of your sales is extremely unrealistic, and we do not set unrealistic expectations here at BidSlot. Has anyone of you rec’d a call in your office set and appointment and the person stepped out during the time you were suppose to meet? And you rescheduled? This is the type of “returned mailer” you get with a program like BidSlot. It’s the honest reality. We strive for 100% success, but understand it is an unreal expectation. We do pride ourselves on unreal ROI when compared to other methods of marketing though.

I can give you a little insight into how I am monitoring the campaigns for our clients. I pick one caller a week to set bid appointments for me so I can monitor the quality of appointments. We work daily to perfect our system and appreciate anyone who is interested in doing business with BidSlot.

I know BidSlot will not be a fit for every company. But the companies that fully understand the program and have a good salesman in place reap HUGE benefits from staying with the program.

What we do is set appointments for companies to meet with an establishment to leave their pricing and information. It is a companies first introduction into this establishment. It is then up to the company to leave their pricing and information and overcome any obstacles there may be at the bid appointment. This program has worked very well for many different companies across the US. With the right attitude and approach it can be successful for any one of you here as well.(as long as your market is available. :))

That’s great info, April.

And welcome to PWR!

Thanks April. Phil’s point and your response has cleared the air probably for some of us here that needed some more clarification.

I have been using them for hoods, truck washing and flat work. They have been very good at setting up appointments. Most people don’t like to dot that initial cold call and that is what BidSlot is great at.

I would be happy to answer any questions regarding BidSlot. Give us a call-888-718-BIDS (2437).

I would think they are like any call center, whether it be sales or help desk. They are expected to meet certain goals. The quality of the leads are only as good as the person who made the call. If you have a bad egg employee that inflates their daily call stats with bad information to make their numbers look good, then the customer is going to have a bad experience.

Every company has a few bad eggs but that doesnt mean the company as a whole is bad.

I know from my years of customer support that I have seen employee get fired for inflating their call volumes. It is not the norm but it has happened from time to time.
