I do love a igrill also do yourself a favor run some aluminum foil over the bottom front edge and down across the front shelf when you cook then when you are done just toss it. This will save clean up time and keep everything sanitary. Oh while its cooling wipe it down the outside with some olive oil will keep the finish and help hold the seasoning

I read to only season the inside with olive oil, should I do the outside too?

Yes wipe the outside down it will protect the finish you gotta do it when it’s hot but only after you are done cooking
