Back to Business, Boys! What the Hell is This?

No, that would be the pressure relief valve, I may be wrong but most newer pumps I’ve seen don’t use them anymore. All 3 of my old CAT pumps had them, but I tosses them. The valve in question is just for overheating.

Ty much

My vote: Plug it. Bypass to tank. They go bad frequently and like IBS said aren’t great enough at their job to fuss with. An unloader and the trigger open when you start the machine is better for the pump to push any air out. That thing doesn’t do that. If it’s a thermal relief it blows due to heat. With an unloader bypassed you can start your machine and let it bypass 100x with no problem and you’ll never have an overheating issue.

No…

THANKS!!!

Yo I got my pilot in the pump
This waters about to dump
I got my wand in my hands
I’m the pressure washin mans
They call me grumpy IBS
Dont you mess with the best
I wash it down like a pro
That’s why the hoes holler yo
I runnin 8 gals a minute
I’m the master of this business
Yall got a bad thermal switch
Plug it and toss it to the ditch
My bypass tube now at last in
I’m bout to get pressure blastin

I’m the IBS in the PWRA

Speechless. I would love to hear Marty Robbins sing that

I think I’ve been here 6 months. I still don’t 100% know when IBS is joking. And, I still need the LMFAO emoji! :joy:

Pretty much take everything I say with a grain of salt. That’s probably why I get most people’s blood pressure up. High sodium intake.
